Update your Win 7 installation media

That is because of your weird Frankenstein motherboard.

Don't discuss it on this thread

Discuss it over there The Board Name is Jingsha H61S

Or start an entirely new thread about your adventures with the monster motherboard.

EDIT: if anybody is interested the monster motherboard thread is here:

still having issue with nvme despite fully updating installation media

I still can't install, it keeps telling me to load drivers. I've updated the installation media with all possible drivers and updates related to nvme that I could find in this and other threads. Any clue how to continue? I'm on a Thinkpad L14 gen 2, intel i5 13th generation.

when I try to boot it from the usb, it freezes on the windows logo. this shouldn't be happening since I have all required nvme drivers. Guess I'll just use windows 10 then (instead of preinstalled 11)

there arent the vmd/irst drivers for win7 on some 11/12/13/14 gen intel oem machines. What options do you have in bios ?

https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/...s-can-be-found-during-windows-10-installation

I don't have any options related to that on my BIOS. Secure boot is disabled btw.

Ask at win raid forum. Canonkong does amd a lot, he uses desktops but he might know what is feasible for laptops.

I use desktop too of course. But I've been wanting a laptop for when I'm not at home or when I need to change my modem settings (which isn't located in my room). But this Thinkpad sucks. Instead of something repairable like you would expect, you get a machine that you can't even open. Legitimaly feels like I have an apple device with just how hard it is to open it. Decided not to try any further so I don't damage it.

Anyway. This tool is pretty nice. Will use it to install windows 7 to my laptop as the updated ISO I had is giving me errors for some reason.
Only issue I had with it is that it sometimes has a "press any key to continue" type thing but without the prompt. So it just appears frozen until you press a key.

I use the 7UPv64P tool(current version) with Simplix UpdatePack7R2 and its needed add-ons(current versions) every month to create a new Windows 7 Professional SP1 63-bit install disc.

If I need to do a clean install in a computer, all I need to do afterwards is install the needed device drivers, then configure its settings and features, then install its needed third-party apps.

From start to finish, it takes about 5 - 6 hours.

SIW2:
Because it's been 4 months since its release, will there be a new version coming out for the 7UPv64P tool?
The current version works fine for me in creating a new Windows 7 up-to-date install disc every month after "patch Tuesday", but I thought I'd ask anyway.

Any reason why Windows Defender and VirusTotal detect a virus with the file?

It is put together on win7 and it is checked with up to date microsoft security essentials.

mse knows what the files are but it is possible a few other avs are not aware . Could be they are not up to speed on nsudo gwt and pecmd and are giving fps. The first two are not needed now so will not be included. pecmd x86 is needed if the updater is run on a 32 bit os.

SIW2:

After Simplix UpdatePack7R2 24.4.10 was created, I used it and the necessary add-ons and the 7UPv64P tool to create a new Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit install disc.

Soon after that, you released the 7UPv64Q tool.

Should I use it now to create a new install disc, or is it okay to wait until a later date to use it with a newer update pack?
