1. With Win 7 I use File Checker from FileHippo.com. File Checker wants me to update Windows Live Mail .
2. Is there anything wrong staying with version 14 ??
a. Version 14 keeps me with the non-ribbon version.
b. Remaining with version 14 am I at risk by possibly not receiving newest security updates/fixes ??
3. Anything wrong with updating from the File Hippo site ?? By using the File Hippo site wouldn't it automatically uninstall current version then install version 16 ?? (That's what File Hippo does when you update Super AntiSpyware).
4. Going from version 14 to 16 I understand changes me to the ribbon format. Will this update perform seamlessly, i.e., all folders/emails/contacts will automatically transfer to new version ???
I don't use the entire suite of Windows Live Essentials (just mail) and I don't want a Windows ID so downloading from File Hippo instead of Microsoft is easier ???

Thanks
