Upgrading Help Please

Hi,

I am considering upgrading my circa 2010 gaming PC and am looking for some advice please.

What is best for gaming and video editing:

DDR3 or DDR4 RAM?
i7 5820 or i7 4770K?
2 780 TIGTX in SLI or 2 980 in SLI?

Finally, Coolermaster Cosmos SE Case or Corsair Carbide 540 High Airflow ATX Cube Case?

Is budget a concern and if so, what can you spend? I assume in British pounds?

Are you going to buy only case, motherboard, CPU, RAM, and video cards with that budget, nothing else.

What games at what settings and at what resolution?

Mostly a gaming machine or mostly a video editing machine?

What vendors in what countries will you buy from? Any particular website links?

How many monitors are you using? If you're only using one then one 980 will be more than enough. We really need some more information to advise you properly.
