USB drive showing up as Cd drive

Hello, i just dug out my usb drive. it is a 16gb usb drive.

I looked online and a while back made it a bootable USB and had windows 7 ISO put onto it using the windows 7 tool to create a USB bootable drive.

Now i want it cleared absolutely and get my original 16gb back.

Heres what i can see on my computer

the cd drive is saying 0gb. Im not sure why but it was windows 7

and heres what LIST DISK Gives me

any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Would this be a usb flash drive or pen drive or an external hard drive made bootable?

If you followed the guide for making up a usb key for example you would simply reformat the device by going into the Disk Management tool while it was plugged in. You would simply right click on the partition listing for it there and select the format option like you would for any hard drive internal or otherwise preferrably selecting NTFS.

You may need to delete the existing partition and create a new partition that covers the whole drive. If you simply format the drive, you will only end up with only 3.09GB.
