Greetings,
I have this problem that began just after one of the young ones yanked two USB hard drives from their sockets. The drives when plugged in don't dance anymore, in fact they don't even show up for the dance. Device manager doesn't see them, there's no little "da doo" when they're plugged in, no nothing......
I've surfed and surfed for answers and have not found one that I've tried that works, including disabling all the USB resource drivers on the motherboard and reinstalling, updating the chipset, updating the bios, plugging int to other USB ports and whatnot to no avail.
I'm at the point where hair pulling is a possibility...... I'm suspecting that the drives may be toast.
Any other suggestions welcome.
Regards...........
