Hi and welcome to the forum .

You do not need to install any new permanent hardware drivers in Windows XP mode (RAM, Graphics etc) because Windows XP mode is designed to run inside Windows 7. You do however have to install extra drivers for peripheral hardware such as your USB Bluetooth dongle.

If you plan on using a USB Bluetooth dongle with XP Mode it really couldn't be much simpler.

Open Windows XP mode so you have the Windows XP desktop in front of you in a window and make sure Virtual PC Integration components is installed (it will have installed automatically the first time you set up XP mode).
Plug in the USB device you want to use in XP Mode.
Go to the USB menu near the top of the Window and select the device you have just plugged in.
It may now ask you to install the appropriate drivers for your dongle, follow what it says on screen and have the driver disk handy.
Hey presto you're done :).

I hope this helps, if you have any questions feel free to ask them.

I just bought the desktop Win7 64 prof and loaded WinXP mode for a digitizing software that would not run even under compatibility (image templates turn black). I installed it under WinXP mode but even thought the 'dongle' is attached to the computer, it will not recognize it under WinXP mode. Note: it DOES NOT appear in the USB drop down box. It does appear as "MicroDog USB" under Win7 Device Manager under USB. Others on the message board re: this digiizing software have made this work, but I can't get mine to work. HELP!! The digitizing software creates machine embroidery designs ... which is my at home business ... so I need it. Before loading WinXP I tried to see if I could get the software to work on Win7 with WinXP compatibility. It 'works' and finds the dongle ... but, when trying to view an image so I can digitize it, it turns all black. I am desperate!! I may have to power back up my 7 year old WinXP desktop.
