So today I start up my computer. It goes through POST but when starting to load Windows the screen goes all black and the computer doesn't respond although it is accessing the hard drive.

Thinking it's a one off I do a cold reboot and sure enough, everything functions normally now. I decide to check the log and this is what I see.

Unable to read registry files for classes and undefined error. After some searching I find out that antivirus software can corrupt the user file but those who have had this problem have not been ablo to log in at all. Everything works but the log always record this error. Should I care and if so what should I do?

I am the only user on this computer and run as admin (W7-64 Home Premium).

No, don't delete the old one. If you need so, make a new account and copy the files you need to that new one. Copying all files/folders might not work though.

Maybe someone else will comment.

Made a new administrator account. Both of them works but when looking in the log they both have the above error. If I log in on one of them and then switch without a reboot there is no error in log.
