Can you right click a song in iTunes and select "show in Windows Explorer", see what comes up?

To computersplus....I tried your method and nothing changed....I am backing up the previous folders and then I will restore them all as richc46 suggested...I will post how it goes. Thanks though

To hybridfan....yes...the itunes info shows the correct address and plays the song but when I open that folder it is empty. When I look at the "previous version" of said folder the songs are there so something is hiding them.

So the restoration of the username folder failed....I copied the music and pictures I needed onto my backup drive. I am going to do a repair off of my install disc and if that fails I will do a fresh install. If anyone sees this again or finds a fix please let me know.
