using 2 computers but not getting the same mail on one?

I have Windows Live Mail 11 on one computer and Windows Live Mail 12 on my laptop. When I have mail on the computer with Live Mail 11 the same mail does not appear on my laptop that has Live Mail 12. Can someone tell me why?

I know this may sound a bit obvious; but have you double checked the server settings and any other necessary settings within the mail program itself to make sure they are both the same? Because if its fine with one and not the other; there could be a glitch in the program on the one thats not getting the mail. One thing Ive learned in dealing with external mail programs is that your credentials(user name, password etc.) must be exactly as your isp has the email system setup for; otherwise there is a chance that it will not work and will not receive mail properly.

Matt thank you for your answer. This is exactly what was wrong. My user name was the previous one I had on Outlook mail which is still on this other computer as well as the Live Mail 11.
