Yes, it's possible. :D AIMP can emulate Winamp plugins. For those who use the Aimp 2 audio player and would also like to use DFX Audio Enhancer (note pro version of DFX is not free), here's how to configure it.

First you have to have any version of Winamp installed.

Next install DFX, directing it to install in the main AIMP folder instead of the default Winamp folder (Note: Do not install in the "plugins" folder). DFX will then install itself in a folder called "Winamp" in the main AIMP folder.

Finally, simply copy "dsp_dfx.dll" from the Winamp plugins folder to the AIMP plugins folder. (This is why Winamp has to be installed . . . so that DFX will have the place it expects and needs to install its Winamp .dll.)

To turn DFX on in AIMP, run AIMP and open the menu and the "DSP Manager" and choose DFX from the Winamp plugin list.

That's it. You can now uninstall Winamp if you want, but better to leave it installed so you won't have to reinstall it whenever you want to install updates to DFX.
