Very Slow Windows 7 Installation with Error Code: 0x80070057

One day turned on my PC and i tried to open Skype and Mozilla Firefox but that gave me an error saying something about one of the disks corrupting ( i had like 6 Local Disks ) so i decided to factory reset and i didn't need anything that was left on the PC so why not i said then i proceeded doing the installation i got to the formatting and selecting where your windows go screen so formatted all of the 6 disks i formatted disk C once and for some reason it still had 32 GB on it so i formatted it twice and the second time took a little longer which i couldn't wait so i restarted the PC mid way formatting disk C and the PC boots on fine but all parts of the windows installations go super slower after i selected my language and the part after that it says Setup is starting... for like 60-120 mins or more after that i get the normal formatting and select where installing your windows i select disk C and it proceeds to the screen that says Copying windows files 0% but that's where it is stuck then it is staying at 0% for like 60-120 minutes till it gives this error.
Windows could not format a partition on disk 0. The error occurred while preparing the partition selected for installation. Error Code: 0x80070057

Hello and welcome Lazor PC mate for starters it would be best to remove all the drives except the one you want as the boot drive one - I mean just unplug the data cables (SATA) on the others and then try this tutorial way of installing it is the freshest version of whatever version you have on the machine. Br careful to pick only the version you have already because some smart A's try to go to a higher version and then get grief +++++++ when trying to activate using the original code.

Might I make a suggestion that if your budget can stretch to a SSD then it is by far and a way the way to go.

Hey i bought a new hdd for this probelm because im pretty sure it is the problem it is making weird noises not clicking but like really rough noises and im asumming that should fix it what do you think guys?

Lazor if it is making bad noises mate it is very wrong you should only be able to hear a slight whirring sound or the odd click, anything more and the drive is faulty. Personally I would be demanding a replacement.

Ok mate I would contact them tell them hard drive is very noisy and you are having problems they should fix it under warranty. If they try to tell you it is normal then they are giving you the run around because drive s like I said are normally quiet except for a slight whirring sound and the off small intermittent clicking sound but you have to be very close to the drive to hear that - I mean CLOSE
