I`ve just installed win 7 couple day ago, and I`ve noticed some vibration on desktop, let say if I open bookmarks menu it stays on 2-3 seconds and disappear, and also with renaming, it resets itself before i finish typing...an so on. What can be that ??? It is annoying.

Maybe there's some hair stuck in the laser hole of your mouse, or you forgot to turn off the electric shaver ...

Actually the hair in your mouse was not a bad postulation. But also somthing else may be stealing focus randomly or at intervals. If you open an app does it lose focus by itself as well? Nothing stock should be doing that but possibly some app installed that has an overactive tray icon or something could do it. Or something up with mouse or keybpoard hardware or driver. Keybard or mouse LEDS don't blink or anything unexpectedly?

Despite your dismissing my genuine attempt to offer a possibility (plus some lame humour thrown in), I'm going to persevere.

It may help us all if you first filled out you system specs so stuff like GPU/CPU/Drivers might give us some clues.

I have had something like this happen to me and I very much doubt it has anything to do with your windows install. Is it just happening just in some programs?, have you tried the great Microsoft fix (re-boot!), are your video card drivers up-to-date and designed for Win7, mouse drivers?), did this effect happen as soon as you installed - or did it appear later, install anything just before the problem arose? (try a system restore) ~ in other words - more information please!

It sounds like inadvertent mouse movement or a stuck key, but I might just be stupid too.

He only called the other guy stupid because he thought the guy was being sarcastic, and didn't realize that charlesKane was actually giving advice. We don't need to give danzack a bunch of trouble for a mistake

Not really, but we try to have fun here.

Welcome to the Forums danzack!

Can you describe the vibration? I sort of thought it was a physical one, like the case vibrating when you put in a CD, or the whole desk shaking. But this seems to be a graphics thing. Is it just the mouse that shakes? The entire screen? Random icons? Can you give a better description of the problem please?

not fast enough
Anyone find a solution to this?

I have the same problem (active window loses focus, but nothing else gains focus, then focus comes back after 2 or 3 seconds), and am wondering if it's Outlook's reminders - my reminders are open at the moment, and I've not lost focus for about half an hour, so maybe that's it.
