VMware: OS X Issues.

Hey everyone,

I have installed 10.6.4 through VMware. Everything works great, except for two things:
- First there was no sound, but then I downloaded and installed this driver: Mac OS X guest sound support driver UPDATE [See Attachment] (View topic) • virtualbox.org. Then there was sound... Very crackling sound. It also seemed to interfere with plugins on webpages, like flash and Quicktime.

- My other problem is: I can allocate as much RAM as I want, but OS X only recognizes 1gb. I suppose there isn't a solution for this?

Thanks for your time.:)

Hello,
I will put it this way. OsX isn't intended for install on a VM, or any non Apple made product. You will have many problems with it. There are many forums dedicated strictly to the development of hackintosh systems. We are not one of them, technically the install of OsX in a hackintosh environment is considered piracy, which is in violations of the terms of use of the forums.
