volume generally lower then in vista

Hello I have and old Sound Blaster audigy and the volume is about half then in vista. It is everything - movies, games. Should I try different driver? I used the one automatically installed...

I noticed this as well, volume output is much lower than XP.

Is this because by default the seperate sound source volumes are set at 50% even though the overall master volume is at 100?

Have you tried upping the individual volume level for a particular program in the audio mixer while it is running?

For me, it's the opposite. Everything is much louder with my sound card.

I would say update your driver.
