Volume/Hard Disk Partiton

I am having some problem with Vista, So i planned to install it again in few days. But as i friends said that Windows 7 don't support more than 3 Volumes/Hard Disk Partition. Now my problem is that, I have 5 Partitions(I used Disk Management to make new partitions) C: D: E: F: G:(100 GB each) and H: DvD Drive. Now i want to know if can enable those those partitions again after installation (F and G) without loosing the contents/data ?

Can't Stop myself from using these emo (They look nice than yahoo got) ..

My system has 3 internal drives, 1 external drive; these are divided into 13 partitions; I'm also using a 1GB RAMDrive.
That's a total of 14 "drives" all running very nicely under Windows 7 Home Premium.
I stick a thumb-drive in there once in a while and sometimes an old ZIPdrive, too.
Never had a problem from Windows 7.

Be sure to back up all your Drives before adding/changing/deleting partitions.
There is a free partition manager called Partition Wizard that I use all the time with very good results.
It's much more flexible than Windows' Disk Management tool.
You might want to check it out.

Did you ever re-formatted your system? And found any problems. I have already backed up my files. Just i thought to clear my some questions before formatting mine.

About 6 weeks ago I bought a 40GB SSD.
I wanted to do a clean install of Windows 7.
All went well- of course, I had to re-install my programs, but all the pix, data, music, etc., were already on my other drives.
I didn't even have to use image backups for any of it.

Win7 did, of course, create that 100MB boot partition, but I used Partition Wizard and Windows Repair to get that "fixed".
(It's really just a personal annoyance. Call me a control freak if you will, but I want to be the one setting up my system, not MS.)

I guess the easiest thing to forget is to make sure BIOS is pointing to the correct Boot Device.
Otherwise, a piece of cake.
