Solved VSS Error Event

I have notice that over that last few days for every SR point that has been created. Even manual ones that report the RP was created OK. I get the attached event.

Has anyone any idea what is going on here?

Further Info: I did an image restore the day this started.

Thanks Bill2. That has cured the problem. I had a corrupted user account which I deleted. It looks like there are some leftovers. I will need to look at that further.

I have found a total of 10 registry entries that refer to the deleted user (attached). And also the user files are still there. Do you think I should delete all of them?

Since the keys pertain to a deleted user, deleting them should be fine. To be safe, you can export each of these keys (right click on the key, click Export, save somewhere) before deleting them.

Hi,

I also have a VSS error message (in service) in Window 7 (integral 32 bits)

No apparent problem (I can do retore points but will they work ?)
backup software seems to work.

I tryed the suggested registry solutio, but they are no .bak profile in Profile list (key show in atachment)

As I just reinstalled (clean install) window 7 last week I, then my softare and files and reset everything, would really love not to redo the full think.

On the net, the only solution are for windoe 2008 server, (they even have a "fix it")

So a solution would be so appreciated

If it mey hel I copy the many error messages from service, and exported the detail from one of them.
