Hi,

I mistakenly ordered a new laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium and as a result - am unable to add it to the work network domain - I just screwed up. Is it possible to "upgrade the O/S" (pay to have it unlocked) and change it to "professional" or whatever is needed? Thanks in advance.

thanks for the reply Kaktussoft - unfortunatley they don't allow that upgrade any longer "in your region" - when I attempted it. That would have JUST been TOO easy! so I went online to MSFT and called them. After getting bounce to three diff departments I was told they won't do it and for W7 to go to a retail store. So I called a retail store to be told THEY said the too no longer do it and to go to amazon....really?!  anyway - looks like I have to go to software king or something - I just want to upgrade - I DON'T WANT to buy a full copy and install over - MSFT is so frustrating. Of course - this is after a 45 minute phone call where I was LITERALLY on HOLD for 41 min 30 seconds of it......
