want to remove unwanted files from drive, what are they ?

i want to remove totally unwanted and unncessary files from win7 c drive. i have very small hard drive and i want to use more space.i want to delete those unwanted files, but i am not sure what r those. please help me out

I would advise against doing that. It only takes one wrong file removal to cause a big problem. You are much better off to save for a bigger HD. They are very cheap these days.

well, I see no problem in removing the "unncessary files", as to the "unwanted" - well that requires a little more research.

1. You can run CCleaner to get rid of temporary files.

2. You can get rid of the hiberfile. The command is powercfg -h off

3. You can reduce the pagefile to 2GB

4. Uninstall unneeded programs
