Way to prevent vlc opening up huge?

Hi

Was wondering if there is an option in the settings on adjusting the size at the beginning when opening vlc player.

Mine opens up huge and i have to keep resizing it.

Right click the VLC shortcut - if you don't have a shortcut then create one. On the "Shorcut" tab select "Normal Window" and apply.

Yeah i've tried that. No luck still. It still opens up largely. Thanks

Open VLC via the modified shortcut. Resize window and close VLC. Next time you click the shortcut it should open in a "Normal Window"

Personally I use PotPlayer as default media player for videos. It's possible to specify your own size.

Configuration is an issue if you are used to VLC.

If still no luck maybe try a full removal, reboot, then reinstall.

Geek Uninstaller (free) should take care of removing the leftovers.
