Solved web cam code 45 (not connected) yet it's inbuilt

Up until now the webcam has worked fine.
Suddenly attempt to open the cam receive a code 45,
that is ... item not connected.
However, it is an inbuilt webcam so i'm at a loss as to how to check this.

I can't find that driver vers. on Microsoft site.
The blurb states there is a 'hotfix' but fails to say where it can be found.

Happy to report that problem is resolved.
I continued following the leads and took a few steps so not entirely sure which one worked ... suspect is was removal of the questionable driver.
