Solved What I presume is a BSOD

Hey,
I'm a new poster here but I've been looking around for a little bit. It's only happened the past few times and it appears to be a BSOD but it happens really weirdly.

I have uploaded/followed the instructions on reporting a BSOD, I'm not 100% certain that's what is happening but it seems like that is what the problem is.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffffffffff, memory referenced

Hey,
Thanks for the quick reply. I removed then updated the drivers to my graphics card. I have read through the 0x124 stop thread but haven't seen anything that could be doing it unless it's updating drivers because I can't say I do that too often :P, is there any easy way on knowing what I need to update driver wise or do I need to search them all?
Hopefully, it's fixed but if not. I'll return.

edit: It's still doing the same thing. I launched a game, 5-10 seconds in my computer screen turned into "standby" and my graphics card fan went super fast for a while.

It seems really random that it would be over heating all of a sudden and so quickly, because earlier today I played for over an hour. The next time I try and launch a game, it happens instantly..

Okay..if anything is overclocked with that tool, please revert to default settings and uninstall that program.
Sometimes having that program itself can be a problem.

Is this a new PC?

No, I have had the computer for almost a year now.. It's only been the past few days that this has happened..
Now my computer won't start up as such,
It does the beep and what not but my GPU cards fan just spins like crazy. It's not hot or anything.

Good idea. While waiting for a reply, observe and let us know if there are any blue screens with onboard graphics.

So far it has been running smooth, Usually my computer crashed or whatever during a game. But it did happen while I was just browsing the internet.

When you removed the card, were the power connections fully seated? The best option would be to try another card in your machine and try your card in another machine. If you don't have another card or computer, maybe you have a friend who will help.
