I wanted to reply to my own post, from yesterday, that I had found the cause of the trouble. Problem solved, solution maybe helpful for others in same circumstances.
But...
My post was gone!
And doing a search on my other posts, I only found two of them, from months ago.
All other posts after January 15 or so have been deleted.
By whom?
Why?
I am NOT aware of any forum rule breaking behavior - and IF I would have broken any rule, a notification would have been normal. Not simply delete stuff.

Can any administrator tell me what happened and why? And who did it?

At least: my messages were not shown in their chronological place in the General Discussion chapter, nor did I find them by doing a search with my nickname or the keywords used. How come?
Your replies did show me the way to my own posts in the future, had been looking for that feature in vain, but now know that my posts are displayed under my nickname/avatar.
