Which component is making this high pitch Morse-code like noise?

A beeping sound like that sounds like your motherboard trying to tell you what's wrong. If that's the case it should be a set sequence of short and long beeps. Without knowing the sequence and computer make/model we can't help you further. You might check your manual under troubleshooting. If you don't have a manual it's time to download a pdf copy from the manufacturer's website.

That doesn't sound like BIOS beeps (for lack of the right term). It may be the GPU since the sound is coming from that area. Remove the GPU and see what happens. I'm not aware of GPUs doing this though. YMMV.

I just noticed that there is a link for a youtube vid. The only thing that I can think of doing a "Morse code" been would be the bios. That sounds more like a clicking sound though. However I can't tell where that is coming from even with cranking my speakers almost all the way up. Sorry. I don't think I can help with this.

I have some pretty decent speakers I guess (they're THX certified) and I did have to crank the volume up, and I can tell it's louder near the GPU. So either it's the GPU or something on the MOBO right there doing it.

Now, the tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy theorist in me thinks the code tone pulses are meant to be captured by my Mic for what ever reason by some high level secret agency to know my location and what have you. LOL!

In all honestly however, such a technology exists for Ad marketing, but it's been on my mind for other uses as well. But these sounds you don't hear, they're a high frequency that are inaudible to human ears. Only your smart speaker or smart device like a phone or tablet can hear them.

For shts and giggles, I could analyze the pulse sounds and see if there's anything there withen the probability of human language. LOL! It's like entropy or index of coincidence.

In addition to checking the GPU (and I doubt it's the GPU) but you may want to try going into BIOS and resetting the default configuration. Try one possible solution at a time though so you can help narrow down just what this is.

If you play it backwards maybe there is a hidden message.

I think I know what this sound is. I'm in the process right now of trying to find out what fan is failing in a Dell Optiplex 780. While looking inside the computer case I heard the very same "tones" that you have with your computer. I have discovered that it looks like it's the CPU. I'm not sure if it's because it needs a reapplication of thermal grease, or it's the pins or the CPU its self, but it's certainly the CPU.

Typically, CPUs don't fail. Most computer parts that fail are RAM, fans, hard drives, GPU, water pumps, etc. CPUs rarely if ever fail, though it's possible.

What I'd do is first try reseating the CPU and reapplying the thermal grease. Use small amounts of isopropyl alcohol to remove the old thermal grease. Then if the sound is still there I'd suspect a bad CPU.

How old is the CPU? Is it used for long hours?
