I'm looking to purchase a new graphics card and I'm trying to decide between the following two cards:

Newegg.com - Galaxy 67NQH6DN6KXZ GeForce GTX 670 GC 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Newegg.com - EVGA Superclocked, Signature 2 02G-P4-2687-KR GeForce GTX 680 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

I'm concerned about which of the two would perform best in the future as I don't plan on upgrading until at least 2 years from now. I am running a single monitor at a resolution of 1920x1080. Any advice is greatly appreciated :)

Be aware, more VRAM does not equate to better performance, in fact it can be a serious bottle neck if their is too much memory for the controllers to support. Also large amount of memory is only a concern with high resolutions beyond current HD content and multiple monitors. So you can ave yourself lots more money by getting a 670 with only 2GB model.

Now of course, the 680 does have a lot more head room for more performance then the 670. On the 680 none of the processing cores are disabled like the 670.
