Which of these startup items may i disable?

Hello,

I am a bit unsure about which of these startup items are safe to be disabled for startup:

I have already selected some that I don't mind being disabled. Can someone help with identifying others? I use a ThinkPad W520, Windows 7 Professional (SP1).

all startup items can be disabled and the computer will still function, personally I would just leave your A/V active and usb 3 if you have any usb3 devices

The reason I asked is because of not disabling items and making things impractical for me. For example, lets say I disabled the Smart Audio thing and then my PC starts up quick but totally mute!! I don't want to disable any graphics thing and find out that I can't watch videos or anything because my graphics card isn't running. I have already selected certain things that I want to run when I need them. There are still items there that I do not know if they will affect major things.

If you get a problem after disabling just go back in and re enable but nothing there can impact the operation of the machine

My desktops run just fine this way.
Remember that because something isn't checked in msconfig/Startup doesn't mean it won't start when needed.
It just means it doesn't start at boot and run in the back ground when not needed.

It's good practice when installing stuff to pay attention and use the custom install options,
Unchecking the option to create a startup folder will keep the items from doing just that,
I would instead of automatically unchecking them from startup look in the programs settings to see if there's a option to uncheck = Start with windows !

Unchecking an item from startup via msconfig will eventually add Unknown listing when the item is either updated manually or uninstalled,
Then you'll have to use either autoruns or ccleaner to rid the listings from the startup list,
It's much easier to play attention during Install

Clean boot is a trouble shooting step not a permanent solution

I am thinking about doing a factory reset eventually. I will be fine with a clean windows install too. Will the product key that I have be enough for that? Or will they expect me to buy another copy? This is what I am currently thinking:

Clean install:
- Gets rid of the bloatware

Factory reset:
- Doesn't get rid of the bloatware but every single necessary drivers and software will be present and I won't have to look for them elsewhere.

Actually you could of used the free forum utility that is listed in my signature and it could of most of that for you

But yes you can always try the junkware removal process first

System spec's help others figure out your driver concerns on a clean install
Either installs would be futile if Mcafee is going back on the system.

Your system specs are never irrelevant. They are need for others to know your system so better advice can be given.

If you would follow the tutorial you would of placed your system specs in the proper place. When completed your system specs will follow your every post.
