Solved Why are Versions of Windows-7 Pro 64 in conflict?

I purchased several used WD Hard Drives with Windows-7 Pro 64 "pre-installed"
I installed one of them and it installed as soon as power was applied.
All went and looked well.
There was a Notice that I had 26 days to Activate Windows and I did.
The Activation went well.
I then searched for any / all Windows Updates and installed all of them.
So far, things are great, then a problem.
In the Device Manager, it has trouble with Universal USB Serial Busses, two of them.
I tried letting the Device Manager find them but no luck.
I tried deleting them and Restarting but they came right back.
I then thought, I should attempt a Repair Install of Windows-7 Pro 64.
I have a Retail copy and tried to do a Repair.
It failed saying that the Version of Windows I was trying to Repair was not compatible with the Version on my Retail Disk.

Am I doing something wrong or are there more than one Versions of Window-7 Pro 64?

If so, what Version might I need to get to attempt the Repair?

should be able to find the drivers easily when Mike gives us the pnp id

at a guess just installing the usb3_win7 at the bottom of all my posts will do it
