Hi:

Probably because Vine is dead?:(

Twitter kills Vine three years after launch

That would be my first guess.

If that does not explain your issue, please tell us more about your system, e.g. whether you have the current version of Flash Player for ActiveX installed. We'll go from there.

Thanks,
MM

Thank you for the reply ...I am not computer savvy , sorry . I assumed the videos were Vine . Whatever they are , I was able to watch them up until a few months ago . I went to the Adobe site and discovered that I do not have the most current version of Flash Player . I used to get prompts from them telling me to update but have not for a while so I assumed my version was current . Anyway , I shall download the current version and see what happens . Thanks again .

Hi:

Apparently, Vine is not yet completely dead, but it will be soon.

Having said that:

Different browsers use different versions of Flash Player.
For IE, it's the "ActiveX" version.
Under Win7, that version of Flash Player either needs to be configured to auto-update or the user needs to manually update it.
Since you say you use IE...

You can verify that you have the current version of Flash Player for IE (as opposed to the version for Firefox or other browsers), by using IE11 to go here -- it will test to see what version is installed:

Adobe - Flash Player
If it shows the current version installed and working, then the problem is NOT with Flash Player.

If you need to update Flash Player, you can go here:

Adobe Flash Player Install for all versions
IMPORTANT: Be sure to opt out (un-tick the box) for any free, bundled, crapware that the setup wizard might offer.

If you need help with Flash Player, you can go here:

Flash Player Help

If none of that works, we'll need to wait for someone who is more expert with IE, as I do not use it (and I do not use Twitter, either).

QUESTIONS:

1)In the interim, have you tried a different browser, such as Firefox or Chrome?
That would be a good step to try to isolate the problem.

2) What security applications are you running (AV, anti-malware, firewall)?

3) Can you provide a link to one of the videos with which you are having a problem?

Thanks,
MM

Thanks for the reply ...Latest Flash Players have been installed in both my PCs ...No , I haven't tried a different browser . I'll try Chrome sometime today on the PC downstairs . Security is Avast Pro . The videos are tweets and I can't view any on either computer .
I believe the problem began ( but am not 100% sure as it has been months ) when we moved into our new home in the city and got not only a new internet provider but also a different security app. ( used Microsoft Security Essentials before but Avast automatically installed when we connected to NTT's optical fiber high speed system .
