Is there a way to determine why my context menu (right click on filename) is often slow to appear?

Something I installed has added git to my context menu. I don't know if that's the issue, but I can imagine if it's going out to connect to a repository, it might be slow with respect to my normal use of the context menu - it would have only one second before I noticed a delay.

I don't remember what program added git to this menu. So I uninstalled the last couple of newly installed programs: Aptana Studio 3 and Node.js. Now one of the 3 git selections on the context menu has been removed.

Can you help me remove the other git selections from my context menu?
Can you help me determine what is causing the slow appearance of my context menu?

Thanks,

The third program I installed was git*.exe. I found this in the program files listing. I uninstalled this, and the remaining entries on my context menu disappeared. I will know in a day or two if this solves my slow-to-activate context menu problem or not.
I will mark as solved and create a new ticket if needed.
