Hi guys,

I'm running Win7 Home premium on an ASUS UL30A. When I try to connect to my home wifi the notification area says "Not connected - Connections are Available" even though I can access the net over the wifi. Additionally when I click on the notification I can see the wifi connected but with only "Limited Access".

I've tried everything I can think off and I very close to doing a full clean install.

Here is the output of a ipconfig /all

Update the LAN driver, if you haven't already. Also, for what ever reason, some wifi devices just loose connection and a hard reset of the router is needed. Worth a shot.

Drivers had all been updated and had numerous re-boots of both router and laptop.

I ended up finding a fix which required running the following commands

winmgmt /verifyrepository

winmgmt /salvagerepository

After a reboot all worked fine and I now have the notification showing the signal strength as it should and indicating a full connection.

Glad you got a fix for it. May I ask where you found that info from. If you could post a link to that info for future references for others that might have this problem.

I know, old thread but...

I have this same problem and have spent hours trying to fix it. I am an IT pro and nothing can fix it. My wifi says 'limited connectivity' and 'connections are available' as if I am not connected. I connect to the internet fine via wifi.

The only problem is that some programs, like OneDrive or Picasa, won't connect or sync because they believe I am offline.

I ran the first part of this 'solution' and winmgmt /verifyrepository came back clean. Any ideas?
