Solved Will I Have Issues With Activation

I have an acer desktop with Win 7 64 bit. It's four years old and I seem to be having one Windows issue after another. I want to do a repair install (I know how to do it) but my concern if I'll have any issues activating my Windows install after. Using Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder it has a line that says: Installed from 'OEM' media. I have a copy of Win 7 64bit with SP1 according to the installed version but it's not Acer OEM. So, do you think I would have any activation issues?

Do you or do you not have a Microsoft COA sticker on your computer?

If you have the Microsoft sticker you can use that COA number to do a Repair Install and/or a Clean Install.

I decided first to just to do a factory reset but it would not work. Then I decided to do a clean install of Windows and it would not activate. Using Macrium Reflect I was able to restore my system to an earlier time, a few months old but it cleared up a lot of issues I was having in the first place. By the way I think you where misreading my question, I have the sticker on the case and had no trouble getting my product key, I was just wondering how much of a problem it would be to install using a standard DVD (non-OEM version) onto a system that probably has a OEM version installed. Now I know. Thanks for the replies.
