I have zero personal experience with this, but I have been following it with interest.

This may be more than you wish to know:

Short version: drives larger than 2TB must use a GPT rather than an MBR. (There are drivers that work around this.)

A motherboard that uses UEFI is required to boot from a GPT drive.
