My Hp A6347c with windows 7 64 will hang on glowing startup, if I try safe mode it hangs at classpnp.sys. If I try the System recovery disk or the Windows 7 install dvd I get the bsod storport.sys.
How the heck am I even suppose to get a crash dump.
Whats frustrating is this was apparatly a major problem with Vista and now with windows 7.
I have 4 gigs of ram and an onboard Nvidia graphics card and nforce chipset.
I have a Bios Update from HP however itg can be flashed with winflash only and cannot be updated via Dos as it is not a .bin file.

Alright, I got it to boot by borrowing another video card (ATI Rage HD). After booting up it first complained that my version of Windows could not be verified Genuine, but I entered the Product Code Key and took care of that.
However, how can I be sure windows will recognize my on board Nvidia card after I return the video card. Not in a budget to by a new video card.
There are no updates to any of my drivers.

Genuine Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
Chipset: NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430
4 gigs ddr2 memory.
Athlon 64 2x 5600+ (dual core)
Integrated graphics using nVidia GeForce 6150SE
Integrated Realtek Alc888S Audio

Thanks
