Win 7 Balancing problem

I have weird issue with balancing my speakers. Today i got very low sound when i tried to watch the movie, it was like my stereo headphones are 5.1 or something like that. I could hear background music, vocals and sounds, but when some actor starts to speak all i can hear is flickering sound. I went into Control Panel to see my playback devices and i realized that even i set up STEREO in Balance option i have L,R,CL,CR, SW, RL, RR, Sl,SR. So it wont accept my stereo speakers, and then i also realized that when i put Left or Right speaker balance on 0 i can get normal sound. If they are balanced to reproduce same amount of sound, like 100% Left, 100% Right, i get some kind of hall effect and i cant hear normaly, when playing games, or watching movies.

Any ides?

it is either the driver or the configuration. I would first re-install the driver and leave the default settings to see if it works. If it does then repeat the steps that you have here to see if they replicate.
