Hi forum

One day my plan was to set my windows 7 pc to sleep after i went to sleep.

As i have windows 7, i went to: Control Panel\System and Security\Power Options\Edit Plan Settings

I clicked on balanced settings as this was selected as recommended and set the time to sleep.

I went sleep after this.

Next morning i woke up and found that my pc was still running :(

How do i get it to sleep after an hour or so?

There is no screen saver set. So from what i know, there is nothing that would interfer so why did my pc not sleep?

I tried it again and still it never turned off to sleep. Weird.

Did you try putting it on to sleep by yourself? If it turns on then there's a program that might be interfering with it.

If I manually put the pc to sleep... That works out fine.

Then I manually turn it. I like this.

I won't turn on if I move the mouse... Not sure why. But I like it.

There is no interference. It just doesn't seem to go to sleep after a timer is set.

I will test it again soon.
