Hello all,
I'm really at my wits end after a couple of days of trying to get this to work, I'll try and be as descriptive as I can.
We have a PC that was working on Windows 10, but needed to be downgraded to Windows 7 as the touch screen used is not compatible with Win 10. New HDD was fitted.
The motherboard has 4x USB 3.0 ports, no USB 2.0 ports, and no PS/2 Ports (it's a pretty small form factor).
It's a Gigabyte GA-N3050N-D2P
Keyboard and mouse are recognised in the BIOS and work, as soon as you get to the Windows installation screen the lights go out on the keyboard and it and the mouse stop working, so you can't continue the installation.
In the BIOS the legacy support has been tested set to ON and OFF.
I've patched the Win 7 Pro Image using various different tools (Gigabyte recommended tool, Intel NUC patch tool) to patch the USB 3.0 Drivers to the image, I've also done it manually using the command line.
This was recommended to solve problems with USB support, but not specifically when running the Win7 Install.
I can't think of anything else to try, the Gigabyte site for the MoBo says it's Win 7 Compatible, does anyone have any suggestions?
Any help would be appreciated.
