OK, do it this way.

Click here => Reinstall Microsoft Windows and follow the instructions.

IMPORTANT: Make sure that you backup ALL your essential files to an external HDD or USB BEFORE you start the clean install. This is because during the clean install process, ALL your User Accounts, Folders, Files, Documents, Pictures, Music, Videos, Data Files, Icons, and any installed programs will be erased and become irretrievable.

Clean Install - Without Installation DVD/USB

Download the latest and last Windows [Final] > Windows 7 SP1 [build 7601] > Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 ISO [build 6.1.7601 - July 2009] file from TechBench [make sure you select the correct language and bit type] to the Desktop.

You are most welcome!

While that is downloading you can download the drivers that you need to install after the clean install and before you do the WU's [Windows Updates].

Go back to here => Dell Service Tag Number and download the drivers to a USB for:-

• Motherboard or the Chipset
• Video Adapter
• Network Interface Card (NIC)
• Audio Adapter
• Wireless Network Card or LAN Adapter

"This version of Windows could not be installed". I'm going to try again tomorrow, if that doesn't work I'll try 32 bit. 7 wants to start but freezes b/4 it loads.
