This has been going on for what seems like a week or so now. Everytime I reboot it tells me I have 3 Windows Updates that need installing. After installing and rebooting it offers the same 3 updates every time. Can anyone help me out?

I ran this command fsutil resource setautoreset true %systemdrive%\ in elevated command prompt and rebooted, but it didn't fix it.

I'm on Windows 7 x64
the updates are

1. Security update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on XP, server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, server 2008, server 2008 R2 for 64 (KB2656351)

2. Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on XP, server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, server 2008, server 2008 R2 for 64 (KB2600217)

3. Definition update for Windows Defender- KB915597 (Definition 1.139.0.0)

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I tried both suggestions in the thread, but neither of them had any effect. Still getting notified to install them.

Welcome
This is an easy one.
Set automatic updater to notify. When you get the three, right click on it, and hide. You will not be bothered again.
