win 7 ulimate 64bit and HD6450

Hi,
Gigabyte HD 6450 Graphic card ,
mother board P67A-UD3-B3. BIOS F9. Intel i5 2400 3.1.
DELL 1704FPT [Monitor]

I had Gigabyte HD5450 512 graphic card and I problem like freezing and shows some error with Graphic card when graphic card in use. I brought HD6450 1GB. I Put new graphic card , driver installed with the CD. Monitor connected with DVI cable. Once Windows loaded the monitor has no display( PC is still working). But the monitor had display in safe mode. Or when the6450 driver is disabled the monitor work. I updated windows, HD driver from Gigabye still problem persist.

If things work in safe mode, your drivers are probably messed up.

Did you uninstall the old drivers before installing the new card?

The normal method would be:

(With the old card in place,) uninstall ithe drivers.

Rather than restart, shut down the PC.

Replace the card.

Start the PC. Ideally, the generic VGA drivers would install.

Install the new drivers.

I'm not sure what to suggest if this doesn't work. Driver Sweeper (Phyxion.net - Driver Sweeper) may help clean things up, although I'm not optimistic.

I doubt that you'd care to do a fresh Win7 installation, but that would probably solve matters.
