Hi guys,
I recently set up my Win7 machine Lenovo Thinkpad (Professionalx64) to dual boot with Win10.
All went well but decided I really really detest everything about Win10 and deleted it.
However yesterday I decided to do a re-image in order to fix an unrelated issue, and had to boot via the Win 7 repair disc as if I try to re-image via the usual (mine anyway) route of Control Panel,Backup and restore, advanced recovery methods, the system boots into what looks like a Win10 recovery screen.
How can I get rid of this?

Since you have a Windows 10 and Windows 7 dual boot, then the bootloader is a Windows 10 bootloader, and hence that is why you get a Windows 10 recovery screen, when you access the advanced recovery methods screen.

Not sure how you removed Windows 10 from the computer. Is that installation still on Disk? I am a bit confused as to why you'd get that menu, if you have removed Win10 already, that is all.

If you set up dual boot from Windows 7 with say EasyBCD, free for non-commercial use you can edit the bootloader menu.
Don't check use Metro Bootloader and it uses Win7 Bootloader etc. If you only have Win7 you can skip showing bootmanager at startup.
I worked on my triple boot with EasyBCD that is what I trial and error learned.
SIW2 is perusing this post as I type, will have a simple excellent fix for you I'm sure.
