I had the net turned off for a year and had it turned 3 months ago.
I just noticed after 3 months of use that my W7 wasn't updating.
When I try to update I get a Windows Update box that states:
"Windows Update cannot currently check for updated, because
the service is not running. You may need to restart your computer."
Restart does nothing. Tried it in safe mode, and I also tried the
"system readiness update", and nothing. Same error.
Any ideas anyone? Thanks for reading this. -keith
BTW...my browser is MFF.
