Windowed mode in games

Hello,my name is David
I`ve installed Windows 7 Ultimate and I`m experiencing a problem..
Every game what I play,it`s in windowed mode and I can`t switch it to full screen.. Everything is updated but nothing.. And game is compatible with windows 7.. When I had windows xp everything worked good.. Please help and thanks ..

As far I tried,every game.. Well,

Windows 7 Ultimate 32 BIT version

Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2180 2.00 GHz 2000MHz 2 Core(s) 2 Logical processor(s)
MB Gigabyte EP31-DS3L
2GB RAM Kingmax 800 MHz
Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS

Also I forgot to tell that it takes for a normal game like Toca Race Driver 3 about 40-50 minutes to install what is totally weird
