windows 7 32 bit with 64 bit

Hello dear gents,

am currently running only windows 7 (64 bit) on my laptop, and i want to install windows 7 (32-bit) and i want to keep them both at the same time, (e.g: i want to choose whether 32 or 64 when i restart the laptop)

is that possible? if yes, how ?

Welcome to the forum. It can be done with duel boot but what is the point? If you have more than 4gig ram the 32 bit won't see it

it is important for me to install both 32-bit and 64 bit, since i have some softwares that only work on 32 bit while others require 64 bit, (in the same time, i don't want to format any partition)
can you write the steps in details?

I have never seen any modern programs that are 32 bit that will not run on the equivalent, 64 bit Windows - the only known issue is that 64Bit windows does not support 16 Bit programs, which make up a tiny percentile of some very old game and program loaders, the programs are 32 bit and will work correctly, but the small loader program never will and often struggles on 32 Bit - best advice is to upgrade these programs for something from this century
