why would you have to take ram out to install x64 7022? surely 64bit works better with at least 4gig of ram.

He'll put them back in after installation. ;)

It's a issue that sometimes arises during the installation of a 64-bit OS for some reason that will not let you install with over 2 GB of RAM installed. It works fine with over 2 GB of RAM afterwards though. Sometimes it's just that the BIOS needs updating.

Outside of WinRar issue I'm happy with this build. Feels snappier but it could just be placebo.

oh i see. thanks for that. just bought 4gig of ram and not had that prob with build 7000. lets hope 7022 is as accommodating.
