You can install using Compatibility Mode. I'm assuming that you have a version that runs under Windows XP SP3 32bit.

it should just work with no problems.
64-bit windows runs 32-bit software seamlessly - it only has trouble with legacy 16-bit stuff.
most software is still 32-bit, and if windows x64 couldn't run it, it wouldn't be much use as an operating system.
have you actually tried installing it yet?
