Windows 7 64bit Clean Install FAIL

I taking a guess that the pre-format on the 1TB HD is slightly corrupted. I think a new format as per BFK's Tutorial is in order.

What are your RAM settings vs what's set in the BIOS? ie what does your RAM specs say, and what does the BIOS have them set to?

Also I find it odd that you get this error code....

You haven't stumped me, a format and the wipe, "clean all" from my tutorial are not at all the same thing, a format does not remove any data at all and a wipe over-writes every sector on the entire HDD with zeroes and marks it as unallocated space; if you haven't tried the wipe a format is a complete waste of time.

   Note

Contrary to popular belief, formatting does not remove any data at all, it just checks for sector errors and marks the space to be over-written as needed, all the data is still there including all the code from previous/failed installation attempts.

We only get stumped when we don't get feedback on suggestions. With that said, have you tried what Bare Foot Kid suggested???

Also, have you tried to manually set your memory settings to those posted on the memory modules?

As to not offend...
A Low level format is a "wipe", however I used your "how to" BFK as to not add addtional confusion.

SO I have one brand new hard drive (1) 1TB freshly "WIPED" and (1) 500GB NIB hard drive. Which would you perfer we use folks?

I skimmed the thread...so if it was covered...sorry...
I know everything is new...but have you run MEMTEST on the RAM, one stick at a time.
Bad RAM (yes, even factory new in the box) can cause all kind of havoc on a Windows install.

Download and burn to CD Seatools diagnostics/repair scan. Boot it to run an extended repair scan on the HD with all others unplugged. http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=287

Next open a Command Line on DVD to run http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/433-disk-check.html.

Try cleaning the HD again, create an NTFS Primary partition and mark Active to try install again.

You can also use free Partition Wizard bootable CD. First on Disk tab run HD Surface Scan, then Wipe the HD. Next partition the entire HD NTFS Primary with Win7 target partition marked Active, then rightclick each partition to Check File System. http://www.partitionwizard.com/download.html
