Windows 7 boot problem after shutting down unusually

Hi there,
I recently bought the netbook asus eee pc r105 with Windows 7 Starter. One day I closed my netbook to go into the Stand-by mode. When I oppened it again, it showed the log-in screen like normal. I pressed the shut-down button on my netbook because I thought this will be faster than logging in first and do it normally. Of course it was faster but I later found out that this was a really stupid idea. The next day I tried to boot my netbook it told me that Windows is loading files. Then I have to select a keyboard input method and after that the Startup Repair is checking my system for problems. It says it "cannot repair this computer automatically". I read several threads in this forum but didn´t find a solution.

When I press F8 while booting I can choose the option to repair the Computer but the only Recovery Tool installed on my netbook is Startup Repair.

Go to this tutorial and download the System Repair disk then see if you do a System Restore

Replace the registry Hives with the backups.

1. D/L the free Rescue Kit Free Edition | PARAGON Software Group - free partition software, hard disk partitioning

2. Boot it up and select Normal Mode>File Transfer Wizard.

3. Browse to windows\system32\config and rename Default,Sam, Security,Software,System to

OldDefault,OldSam,OldSecurity,OldSoftware,OldSystem

( only rename the ones with no extensions - don't need to bother with any .LOG or .TM files ).

4. Browse to windows\system32\config\regback copy the same hives to the paragon clipboard.

5, Browse back to windows\system32\config and paste them in.

Exit paragon boot disc, restart pc.

@ Capt.Jack Sparrow: I burned the system repair thing on a cd. Now I don´t know how to boot with this CD. If I understood the turorial correctly I have to press F8 while booting but then it doesn´t show me anything which is on my cd. My netbook doesn´t have an internal PC drive but I have an external one. Does this work too?
@ SIW2: Didn´t try it yet because it sounded very complicated^^

OK, I was able to save my important files on a SD-Card. Now I resetted my netbook to how it was before I got it.
