Solved Windows 7 boots normally then freezes after 2 minutes

May be .... but apparently the BSOD is still a stop 0xF4, Storage/file system related error.

Try a full formatting and reinstalling windows.

But there is too much for me to lose, is there not an alternative? What do you mean by Storage/File system error?

But there is too much for me to lose, is there not an alternative? What do you mean by Storage/File system error?
Storage/file system error means .....

  • Storage = HDD
  • File System = Partition maps, stored data etc.
We already know that the the HDD is itself weak. It already got a SMART data corruption. Seatools attempted a repair. But still it is BSODing with the same bugcheck code; 0Xf4, which indicates that very storage/file system malfunctioning. Before deciding about abandoning the HDD, a clean reinstall will be a worthy try.

Moreover, your installation is bloatware covered. You have installed lots of things which are causing issues, and you dont know how to remove those. So it logically provides another ground for the clean reinstall.

I hope you understand now.

You can store all your dear data to somewhere else externally, or store them in cloud storage like SkyDrive. If you want, you can salvage all the important things.

Follow http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219487-clean-reinstall-factory-oem-windows-7-a.html ... it works for retail windows as well.

Apparently not. The failure of PC probe made them fail too.

The first, second and last ones are system native drivers. And the other three are related to VBox/Virtualization.

Now it is becoming annoying. Really annoying.

We have discussed about PC probe just one hour ago ...... see your own post #37. And my post #35.

You decide at your own on everything? Who told you that you are wasting my time that you are saying it? :)

I told you that there are some solid reasons to go for a clean reinstall. And told you that you need to go for it.

Again you are taking a wrong decision. It is to go for a clean reinstall at the first point. If the file system errors are present there, the formatting of the HDD will cure it.

But if the same stop 0xF4 (or even stop 0x7F) BSOD comes back even after, then there will be no other way but getting a new HDD.

Well, that is all. That is the logical way to troubleshoot an issue. You are taking a wrong decision once again.

Stay within Samsung/Intel/OCZ.

Update the firmware regularly.

Be careful about the controllers, and keep them up-to-date always.
