Windows 7 SP1
I've done Windows suggested things and DSIM SURT and SFC Scan.

I had trouble Zipping the CheckSUR, so here it is. Can you help as I can't do any updates? Thanks.

CheckSUR actually fixed all the necessary file problems - the others are a problem in semantics, rather than reality.


Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data

If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)

I've uploaded a file - i67aa.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
Please download and save it.
Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder i67aa in the same place.
Open this folder - there should be one folder inside it (Packages)

Copy the content of the Packages folder to the folder
C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.

There's no signs that you've rerun the CheckSUR tool? - although you have rn the SFC, that was not what was needed.
Please run the CheckSUR/SURT tool and post the new CheckSUR.log file.
