Windows 7 Enterprise x64 Failure update

Hi guys,
Recently, I have been gone a weird issue on our company's laptops. I ran the Windows updates on Dell E7x50 series, I keep getting error " Failure configuring Windows updates. Reverting changes. Do not turn off your computer". It takes hours to get updates but once I update then get that error. I have gone through several websites try to get fixed but none of worked. Here how I do my Windows update:

1. Click on Windows update. Wait for 3-4 hours to get updates
2. Get around 80 updates, and choose first ten on the recommend list and it works
3. Rebooted. And choose another 10 in the list then wait for the whole night.. Finally, it's downloaded and installed.:sarc::sarc:
4. Rebooted then error showed up " Failure configuring Windows updates. Reverting changes. Do not turn off your computer".
5. Log-in after it's done its thing. Click Check Windows update "again".
6. Looking for which updates failed, unfortunately, View update history shows that I have not tried to install any updates for your computer.

Anyone have that kind of experience. I have to delete Update downloads but it won't work. Please help!!!

Hi Viet,
The only comp that should be suffering from update lag, should be your server.
The comps in your system are all fed by the server.
80+ is quite a lot of updates possibly 3/4 months worth.
