Can someone please help me out!!! I have a laptop with Windows 7 on it. At one point I believe that the Windows Task Manager was opened, Processes tab was selected, and then End Process was selected for explorer.exe. Needless to say my explorer interface is no longer working correctly. When I am on the home screen and I select the icon to open the File Explorer; I am prompted with an error message. At the top of the error message is explorer.exe and the message states 'No such interface supported". Can someone please help. I do have the original CDs that came with the laptop (ie. Operating system and driver recovery disks). Any input is greatly appreciated as solutions that were researched just kept giving me error after error.

Maybe a dumb question, but have you fully restarted the computer? Meaning not using sleep or hibernation?
